Well, that was fun! I’m back my screen after a little down time – can you believe I actually left the laptop at home and switched off for a relaxing holiday?! But before hitting pause and jetting off, I gathered my nearest and dearest for a little ‘Party with Nardy’.

Regular readers will know that events rarely make it on to these pages – I’m usually happy for Instagram to tell the story of an awesome party. But I’ll like an exception for my own ‘do, particularly as this one was so memorable!

The location was chic beachside Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, where we took over the roof top terrace for a long languid summer lunch and a riveting debrief of the year in style. I cant not tell you how much fun I had; the gorgeous summer day, creamy hydrangeas against elegant place settings, icy Belvedere vodka spritz served in Waterford Crystal, the mouth watering buffet table and an eclectic range of on-trend outfits worn by my sassy girlfriends.

As with all daytime parties, it started quietly with everyone mingling and enjoying lunch, and then the drinks really began to flow, the gorgeous Alice Q dropped some dance-worthy tunes and we all let our hair down – I may, or may not have climbed on to a table to give a little speech, its my party and I can do what I want, right?

Party with Nardy was the perfect way to thank my close circle of friends for a phenomenal year and kick off the festive season with a bang! A huge ‘merci’ to all my guests and the people who helped make the day a huge success – my next private event has a lot to live up to.
