I love the excitement of clutching a hotel room key, checking in, and spending dreamy days in a bubble away from the every day.

For someone who spends most of my life on the road, surprisingly a luxury hotel stay still hasn’t lost its novelty. Chic lobbies become my office, bedrooms with views distract me from scrolling through news feeds, and I’ll find all kinds of photogenic backdrops in the most unusual of spaces.

I daydream about the creatives and quirky characters in the rooms around me, and keep my eyes peeled for style notes from fellow travellers. Wake up calls, the daily newspaper, chocolates on my pillow, indulgent room service meals in silk robes – who cares if I’m up at 5am for a shoot and have a to-do list as long as my arm, this is hospitality heaven!

Here I am making myself at home in Sydney’s Establishment Hotel, with a travel-friendly capsule wardrobe courtesy of Max & Co, my ultimate Italian playmate. I am not sure if it was the floaty floral dress or just the feeling s stay-cation gives you, but dancing around my suite seemed normal?!

With working days and party nights, this was one hotel stay I really wanted to extend and one label I want to keep wearing.
