With its sparse backdrop and playful proportions, during this shoot I imagined playing in my very own dolls house!
There’s nothing like some leather and a chunky heel to balance out soft tones and lavish fabrics. Elegant greys just ooze luxury, especially with a mix of knits silks and linens, and what is it about this shade that brings out the skin tone – I just love how it enhances a rosy glow; it’s definitely one for us blue eyed dolls. While the beauty look is soft and girl-ish, the shapes and colours of the garments are androgynous adding a modern twist. We all know I like to break the rules a little, so I’ve offset this chic soft look with some serious leather lovin’!
The proportions are knocked sideways with Coach’s over-the-shoulder “Nomad Hobo” bag in those deep hues of plum and navy, oh how that plum pops against the dulcet grey tones, and the delicate clutch bag takes proportions to the other end of the scale. The bags have become the objects and I’m the minimal muse playing dress-up.
I’d happily take up residence in this little fashion house, or the fashion house of Coach!
