I’ve been feeling the monochrome vibes lately, from playing around with B+W filters on Instagram to selecting all-white looks for recent events. So when Country Road gave me access to its edgy new CR. Capsule collection I couldn’t help but pull a rail of black and white beauties to style on the streets of Manhattan.

Country Road has always been a casual favourite of mine but this season their designers have ramped things up with a directional collection of pieces made from the types of premium fabrics usually reserved for high-end labels. Soft smooth leather, plush velvet, pleated pieces that drape beautifully on the body, ( I seemed to have fallen in love with these!) all crafted in to architectural lines and crisp shapes for a capsule that oozes luxurious cool.

And where better to road test these on point pieces than the style mecca of the States, New York City with Gal pal Yan Yan Chan. I loved stomping through the streets dodging cabs and construction sites and showcasing Aussie style to fashion-savvy New Yorkers.
